Both have a grandfathers in common. The last Top Producer of the Afghan Hound breed in the world, the Multi BISS, German Champion, Italian Champion and International Champion Xenos Comment. Until his death in January 2016, he have produced 65 champion on three continents (North America, Europe and Asia) with 21 different females. He was Top Stud in Norway, USA, Germany and for three years in Sweden. His genetic superiority was not confined to his children, as many of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren have many qualities transmitted by him. It is worth noting that his litter with female Khafka's Hot Spice, born in today's world-famous German kennel, Agha Djari's, was responsible for changing the direction of this kennel and turning it into the phenomenon it is today. It is impossible to find a pedigree Agha Djari's who has no descendants of Xenos Comment. Last but not least, Comment is twice grandson of Gazon Say What You Mean (aka Chevy), who is the most successfull sire of the last millennium. Chevy is also a great-grandfather on the maternal side of our Constança, which reinforces linebreeding with important dogs.

The other double grandfather is Multi BIS, Multi BISS in the United States and Canada, Grand American Champion and Canadian Supreme Champion Polo's The Aviator (aka Ace). He was also, Best of Breed at Westminster in 2009 (a year when big breed names came into the ring), Best of Breed twice at Eukanuba National Championship (2008 and 2009) and 2009 Canadian National Winner. Ace as a Show Dog certainly appears in the Hall of Fame of its breed. Added to this is the influence that some of their litter brothers and sisters had in Eastern Europe, where they were responsible for positively modifying the breed in their region. Multi-champions include Polo's Top Gear, Polo's Grand Prix and Polo's Formula One At Shougerat. On the maternal side we see the dam White Infinity's Elite Luna, with more Polo's, Kabik's and Aviva bloodlines.

Our Rui, in turn, is the son of Multi BISS, Italian and International Champion Xenos Torque. Torque was chosen by Roberto Bongiovanni to continue his work in this line of Great Sires. He is currently the father of over 35 champions in Europe and the United States, Gael being the first and only Xenos to come to South America. Among them, we can highlight Multi BISS, AM (Gr), IT, INT CH Elevate UR Game Cynergy of Meadow Valley; MULTI BISS, EST, IT CH Xenos Amaris; MULTI BISS, IT, INT, CH Xenos Maddox; FI, LT, SE, INT CH Xenos Syracuse; FI CH Scaramis Attention Please; AM CH Easy On The Eyes Of Meadow Valley; AM CH Xenos Aminata; AM CH Google Me of Meadow Valley; AM CH Good Vibrations of Meadow Valley; DU CH Glory Day of Meadow Valley; AM, JAP CH Xenos Latifa; and KOR CH Xenos Kalsoon. Last but not least, Rui is litter brother to BIS, SBIS, AM, CAN CH Xenos Copper Nite Of Polo (aka Copper). Copper lives in Canada, and, although young, has stood out as a Top Sire with nearly a dozen of successful litters.

Rui and Mafalda have been tested over 180 genetic diseases (DNA) by the US laboratory Embark to ensure puppys health:

A lot of planning has been put into this dream combination.

Regarding phenotype, in addition to the great virtues that we can see in these two magnificent representatives of the breed, the titles they both won in Brazil and Europe reinforce this choice.

All of this is further enhanced when we analyze the pedigree of their litter:

On the maternal side, Mafalda's father is JBISS, Croatian Junior Champion Eyes Gazing Why So Serious (aka Tarik). Tarik was not acquired to attend exhibitions, but, as is usual in Europe, its owner was in some dog shows. The renowned breeder and judge Darko Petreski was delighted with his structure and consequent movement (as can be seen at link https://www.facebook.com/darko.petreski.7/videos/913328102035741/) and decided to use him in his breeding program. In addition, Tarik is a litter brother to SBIS, LUX, BEL, GER, CH, DUT, INT CH. Eyes Gazing We'll Always Have Paris and SBIS SW, DA, FI, CRO, INT CH, Crufts BOB'19 Eyes Gazing You Talkin' To Me.
